For this shot I really wanted to get a decent photo of my daughter, Maddie, with her books. She is obsessed with her books and wants us to continuously read to her from the moment she wakes up everyday until bedtime. It is so cute, and yet kind of annoying! Haha, I guess that makes me a terrible mother, but really there are only so many times you can read "Goodnight Moon" before you want to bash your head through a wall.
I thought it would be sweet to have her "reading" her Madeline book, because, that is her name after all. So I hand her the book and sit her in front of the window and she starts flipping through it upside down, and the book it almost as big as she is. All things I thought would be terrible for my composition at the time. And yet, I just LOVE this picture. I love that she looks so small and is just peeking out over the top. Just makes me happy :)
